Billing and Financial Assistance

How to Pay Your Medical Bill

You can get a bill for the service you received at BIDMC if you were an inpatient or had a clinic visit.

You might get bills:

  • from the medical facility or the doctor,
  • a single bill for each service provided for treatments and services (such as anesthesia, an MRI, surgery, etc.).

Please check each bill to be sure to know where and how to send payments.

Paying Online

Online bill payment for BIDMC is one simple method. A secure payment site will be used for your payment. The processing of payments typically takes two (2) business days.

Additionally, you are able to:

  • View your balance and statements.
  • Revisit your personal data
  • up-to-date data

Payment Alerts for SMS Text Message Alerts

CueSquared Direct Better Facilitate, a mobile payment system used by BIDMC, enables patients to settle their account balances directly from their mobile devices without having to enter a portal, download an app, send a check in the mail, or make a phone call.

How does it function?

You will get a text message informing you that a payment is due following your appointment with the provider. The letter will contain information about your monthly payments and visit that can be reviewed. Open a secure website by clicking the link in the text message to enter your payment information (credit card, HSA card, etc.).

Only the first time you utilize the application is this done. From there, you can select to pay and input the payment amount. Options for full or partial payment of the debt are available. Your phone does not store any data, and neither does BIDMC store any of your financial data.
